Why Cacao Ceremonies?
Cacao has been used ceremonially for thousands of years throughout Central and South America. The Cacao Spirit Is one the most powerful deities of Mesoamerican peoples.
Considered a plant medicine, cacao offers the gifts of transformation, insight and divination.
Recent years have seen cacao explode onto the modern western consciousness as raw chocolate.
When taken ceremonially, pure whole bean criollo cacao is consumed as a rich drink. It can be imbued with spices such as cayenne, pepper, cinnamon and vanilla.
We circle up together (almost) every full and new moon.
